Brilliant Ideas for a bunch of guys who thought of having their own joint in the heart of Makati City. They established a clear deal objective, good company with great music, not a honky tonk but a "Maannn! Cave" Allan Litton. The concept is as simple as it is "Awesome!".

It was 1992 when they started out with their group of socialite friends, just hanging out and having a good time. While one strumming a musical instrument and wrote the word in a piece of paper  where the name came about, STRUMM'S and that was Louie Prieto. Every night at the STRUMM'S was not just  an objective reality for those behind it's existence. STRUMM'S is where the present is calling up the past, where the old days remains today, and where the fallen is remembered, never to forget. Remindful of the young days, the bond between brothers and their love for music. Through time, STRUMM'S integrated with popular local bands. Known particularly for having nostalgic nights of the 70's, 80's to 90's. Thursday, is the heaviest among its prime nights and when women dominates the night. Juan Miguel Salvador, ( with the RAGE Band of the 80's) and  his AUTHORITY band plays this night of nostalgic 70's and 80's music. Usually, STRUMM'S have two bands alternating on a 45 minute intervals of two sets of performance. Most of the bands are regulars and been performing in STRUMM'S for at least a good ten years. Love is the only explanation to this popularity as the customers been enjoying their time with these bands. The popularity extended far into other metropolis and to foreign nationals. This tight neat friends carefully manage their business. They meet and exceed the customers expectations. As a proof...26 years in business and standing strong. Brilliant!

STRUMM'S is open from Monday till Saturday and close on Sundays, also on regular Holidays. There is a cover charge of 450PHP a person which is consumable, and the place don't charge an entrance fee. The doors are open at 6pm as it's happy hour and serves dinner. For Mondays till Wednesdays, open hour till 1am. During it's prime nights, STRUMM'S stays open till 2am. On drinks,  the usual local and imported beers are in stock, also same for the liquors. STRUMM'S offer corkage for anyone who would like to bring in their bottle. The rate is much lower compared to other bistros around Makati City and other metropolis. What's also great about this place is that STRUMM'S does offer to hold your corkage bottle if it ended up unfinished, it will be marked and secured for your next visit. STRUMM'S do offer private or exclusive reservations and can accommodate at least 200 as it's capacity. To mention, STRUMM'S other amenity is a second level for a more private lounge and tables. The dance floor is often dominated by female crowd. For Mondays - Wednesdays a smoking room is open for everyone. Due to STRUMM'S heavy crowd on it's prime nights this room is utilize as an extension of it's function room for it's customers. A no issue for smokers as they can always step outside as they please.

STRUMM'S is not just like many of these great old bars, a place to go for burgers and grab a beer nor just a joint with live bands, as it was perceived to be at the beginning. STRUMM'S is about the Great Music of the past where it meets the new  and the past generations, this is a place to go and feel good as a person, to have a GREAT TIME as it became ... and hopefully that will inspire you to get started or visit more.
